Report Red Squirrel Sightings

There are numerous conservation groups who work to help protect, I've listed below all the websites and schemes you can use to report a Red Squirrel Sighting (or even a Grey Squirrel Sighting). I will add to it as I come across them.

Why report sightings?

Sightings allow conservation groups who are working to protect the Red Squirrel to work out how many of each type of squirrel inhabit an area, allowing them to identify areas where habitat management or targeted Grey Squirrel control could benefit the Red Squirrel population. It also provides information on natural changes in population numbers and where they are currently living.

Where can I report my sighting

I've put together a list with relevent links for each area in the British Isles, just look for the area where you spotted a Squirrel, click on the link and follow the information.
